MS Access Specialist

Job Summary

For our Customer team, we are looking for a talented MS Access Developers who loves to build & fix Access Databases.

Skills requirements:

Professional experience in MS Access & Surroundings

+5 years working with Access as a prototype tool & developing frontends
Multi user applications
Experience with front ends Linked to SQL
Experience in upsizing Access to SQL, including SP.
Experience in optimizing Indexes
Expert in Queries, also making crosstab queries
Writing Code and Classes in VBA
Using External API's with Access
Office integration
Report generator
Large volume Import/Export jobs, also automated.
Conversational and technical English
Creativity, the ability to independantly understand the objective, define and execute tasks
Teamwork, ability to work with others and ask questions if needed.

Project / Tasks:

Creating new solutions from customer inputs
Making internal databases for different purposes
Making mockups for customer presentation
Making prototypes
Maintenance of existing systems:

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Convert use cases and other inputs from customer need - to specifications and design implementation structure, make technical proposal with estimates

Discussion in team & with management

Build backlog for project

Make estimates & timeline

Report progress and make necessary adjustments when needed

Report issues and propose solutions

Ability to effectively plan and organize tasks and meet deadlines.

Take responsibility for own work
